Central Knox County in southeastern Kentucky...
* Until 1215 AM EDT
* At 816 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area, with some locations likely
already receiving in excess of two inches of rain. Flash flooding
is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Barbourville, Cannon, Artemus, Emmanuel, Swan Lake, Hubbs, Clate,
Birdseye, Barnyard, Salt Gum, Hinkle, King, Bryants Store, Girdler,
Heidrick, Baileys Switch, Indian Creek, Avis, Dishman Springs and
Yeager.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT FOR
CENTRAL KNOX COUNTY...
At 918 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms were
diminishing over the warned area. However, radar also shows that up
to three inches of rain has already fallen, and flooding will
continue to be a concern late this evening.
Some locations that may experience flooding include...Barbourville,
Cannon, Artemus, Emmanuel, Swan Lake, Hubbs, Clate, Birdseye,
Barnyard, Salt Gum, Hinkle, King, Bryants Store, Girdler, Heidrick,
Baileys Switch, Indian Creek, Avis, Dishman Springs and Yeager.
