The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Marion County in northern Florida...

* Until 700 PM EDT

* At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms 
  producing torrential rains across the warned area. Up to five 
  inches of rain has already fallen in a large area from Ocala to 
  Santos. Flash flooding is expected.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Ocala and Santos. 

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
