* Until 945 PM EDT
* At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates and spotter
reports indicate that between 2 and 3 inches of rain has fallen
across the warning area this afternoon. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible through early this evening.
The ground is saturated due to heavy rainfall this afternoon and
yesterday. Runoff from this heavy rainfall will likely lead to
flash flooding. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Defiance, Napoleon, Paulding, Leipsic, Deshler, Antwerp, Payne,
Liberty Center, Continental, Holgate, Mcclure, Oakwood, Hamler,

NORTHERN PUTNAM...SOUTHEASTERN DEFIANCE...PAULDING AND HENRY
COUNTIES...
At 535 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain from southeast Paulding county into northwest Putnam county.
Radar estimates and spotter reports indicate that between 2 and 4
inches of rain have fallen across the warning area, bringing the 24
hour rainfall total to 3 to 6 inches for most locations. An
additional half inch of rain is possible across the warning area
early this evening, with localized one inch amounts possible across
far southeast Paulding county and northwest Putnam county. Runoff
from the heavy rainfall will continue to pose a risk of flash
flooding this evening.

DEFIANCE...PAULDING AND HENRY COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 945 PM EDT...
The heavy rain has ended. Flash flooding is no longer expected. The
flash flood warning will be allowed to expire. Any additional
rainfall is expected to be light. However...flooding
will persist across much of the warning area overnight due to 3 to 6
inches of rainfall over the past few days. An areal flood warning
will be issued shortly for tonight into early Saturday morning.
