...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers
and streams in central and southern Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Big Walnut Creek...Driftwood River...East Fork 
  White River...Eel River...Mississinewa River...Muscatatuck River...
  Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White River...Wildcat Creek...
  Youngs Creek...


.Widespread lowland flooding developed along rivers and streams in
central and southern Indiana.  Significant flooding is possible at a
few locations.  Flood crests will range from bankfull to 9 foot above
flood stage in the Montezuma area along the Wabash River in western
Indiana.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will last through the weekend in central Indiana and persist
into the first week of February in southwest Indiana and southeast
Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana on Thursday night.  Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  Blue River in southern Johnson County in March 2011.  Lowland 
  flooding begins along portions of the Driftwood River in northern 
  Bartholomew County.  Water is near CR 950N to Double Y Saddle Club.

* At 16.0 feet...Extensive lowland flooding affecting agricultural 
  lands.   Many county and state roads in flood plain become 
  impassable by high water.  These include SR 235 East of Medora...SR
  258 East of Cortland...County Road 725 N and possibly State Road 39
  South of Tampico.  High water affects county roads near Vallonia 
  and Shields...Ewing Road near Brownstown...County road 525 North 
  near Seymour wastewater treatment plant...Honeytown Road and 
  possibly state roads 250 East of Dudleytown and 256 west of Austin.

* At 22.0 feet...A few local county roads begin to flood and are 
  impassable.  These include Buddha Road south of the gage and 
  Lawrenceport Road.  All local roads across the East Fork of the 
  White River are threatened by high water, and some are closed.  
  Flooding of agricultural lands in Lawrence County is in progress.

  Franklin and CR 250 S west of US 31 closed by high water.   Amity 
  ditch is out of its banks.

  several places from the Wabash Bottoms, Janssen Tract to Warren CR 
  350 N in the Black Rock Preserve Area, a distance of nearly 1.5 
  miles. High water affects Fort Ouiatenon area. All parks in the 
  West Lafayette and Lafayette areas are flooded.  High water almost 
  on North River Road.

.Widespread lowland flooding developed along rivers and creeks
streams in central and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is
possible at a few locations. Flood crests will range from bankfull
to 9 feet above flood stage in the Montezuma area along the Wabash
River in western Indiana.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will last through the weekend in central Indiana and persist
into the first week of February in southwest Indiana and southeast
Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana on Thursday night.  Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel 
  River...Flatrock River...Muscatatuck River...Sugar Creek...Wabash 
  River...White River...Wildcat Creek...

.Widespread lowland flooding developed along rivers and creeks
streams in central and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is
possible at a few locations. Flood crests will range from bankfull
to 9 feet above flood stage in the Montezuma area along the Wabash
River in western Indiana.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will last through the weekend in central Indiana and persist
into the first week of February in southwest Indiana and southeast
Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana on Thursday night.  Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

streams in central and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is
possible at a few locations. Flood crests will range from bankfull
to nearly 9 feet above flood stage in the Montezuma area along the
Wabash River in western Indiana.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will last through the weekend in central Indiana and persist
into the first week of February in southwest Indiana and southeast
Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana on Thursday night.  Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following waterways
in Indiana...

  Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash
  River...White River...Wildcat Creek...



.Widespread lowland flooding developed along rivers and creeks
streams in central and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is
possible at a few locations. Flood crests will range, or currently
are ranging, from bankfull to nearly 8 feet above flood stage in the
Montezuma area along the Wabash River in western Indiana.

The Wabash in the vicinity of Lafayette has dropped below moderate
flood stage and is expected to continue to fall for the foreseeable
future. The crest on the Wabash as of late Sunday morning is in the
Covington and Montezuma areas. Vincennes and Mount Carmel will see
the crest arrive on the 27th and 28th respectively.

The crest on the White River is currently in the Centerton and
Spencer areas. The crest will reach the Petersburg and Hazleton
areas on the 26th and 27th respectively.

The crest on the East Fork White River passed Seymour on Saturday
and is expected to reach the Bedford/Rivervale area on Tuesday.
Shoals will see the crest arrive Wednesday night.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will persist much of the week in central Indiana and into
the final days of January and possibly the first couple days of
February in southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana this past Thursday night. Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  East Fork White River...Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White 
  River...Wildcat Creek...

.Widespread lowland flooding developed along rivers and creeks
streams in central and southern Indiana. Significant flooding is
possible at a few locations. Flood crests will range, or currently
are ranging, from bankfull to nearly 8 feet above flood stage in the
Montezuma area along the Wabash River in western Indiana.

The Wabash in the vicinity of Lafayette has dropped below moderate
flood stage and is expected to continue to fall for the foreseeable
future. The crest on the Wabash as of Sunday evening is in the 
Covington and Montezuma areas. Vincennes and Mount Carmel will see
the crest arrive on the 27th and 28th respectively.

The crest on the White River is currently in the Elliston and
Newberry areas. The crest will reach the Petersburg and Hazleton
areas on the 26th.

The crest on the East Fork White River passed Seymour on Saturday
and is expected to reach the Bedford/Rivervale area on Tuesday and 
Wednesday. Shoals will see the crest arrive Wednesday night.

Flooding will affect local and some state roads, extensive
bottomlands, river parks and possibly a few residential areas.
Flooding will persist much of the week in central Indiana and into
the final days of January and possibly the first couple days of
February in southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.

Widespread rains of 1 to nearly 2 inches fell in central and
southern Indiana this past Thursday night. Melted precipitation since
January 10 totals from 2 to slightly more than 4 inches.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  feet lower.  Lost River did not contribute much water during this 
  June flood and locally it was not extremely wet.
