...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
central and southern Indiana...

  Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel River...Fall Creek...
  Flatrock River...Mill Creek...Muscatatuck River...Sugar Creek...
  Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White River...Wildcat Creek...
  Youngs Creek...



.Additional rainfall of 2 to possibly more than 3 inches is expected
in eastern Illinois and all of Indiana from Wednesday evening through
Friday afternoon.  Widespread small stream flooding similar to
possibly higher than seen this past weekend will follow. Significant
river flooding is anticipated in much of western and southwest
Indiana and southeast Illinois. Major flooding is likely along the
Patoka River in southwest Indiana.

Main river flood crests will be the highest since early January
2016. For the time of year...river flooding will be the worst since
April 2013 or May 2011...but not as severe as in those years. 

On Tuesday afternoon stream levels ranged from near bankfull in
central Indiana to more than 8 feet above flood stage along the
Wabash River in western Indiana.  Most small streams in central
Indiana have returned to lower levels. Flood waters in western and
southern Indiana will continue to rise through the weekend. Flood
crests of 9 to 13 feet above flood stage are expected along much of
the White and Wabash Rivers in western and southwestern Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  River campgrounds.  High water affects two businesses near SR 19 on
  the west side of Noblesville.  Roads in residential areas of 
  Riverwood, Clare, and Strawtown begin to flood.  Flooding of roads 
  begins in residential areas of Trails End near E 116th Street, near
  East 146th Street, and in gravel pit areas along the White River 
  from East 96th Street north to Noblesville.

  the water only reached the white line of SR 257 south of 
  Washington, but never closed the road.  Shoals only went to 11.67 
  feet during April 2013.  This is the first that locals can remember
  such a high stage for Petersburg and SR 257 remaining open.

.Additional rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected in all of central
Indiana from Wednesday evening through Friday afternoon.  Widespread
small stream flooding similar to or possibly higher than seen this
past weekend will follow. Significant river flooding is anticipated
in much of western and southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.
Major flooding is likely along the Patoka River in southwest Indiana.

Main river flood crests will be the highest since early January
2016. For the time of year...river flooding will be the worst since
April 2013 or May 2011...but not as severe as in those years. 

On Tuesday afternoon stream levels ranged from near bankfull in
central Indiana to more than 8 feet above flood stage along the
Wabash River in western Indiana.  Most small streams in central
Indiana have returned to lower levels. Flood waters in western and
southern Indiana will continue to rise through the weekend. Flood
crests of 9 to 13 feet above flood stage are expected along much of
the White and Wabash Rivers in western and southwestern Indiana.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers
and streams in Indiana...

.Additional rainfall of 2 to possibly 4 inches is expected in eastern
Illinois and much of Indiana from Wednesday evening through Friday
afternoon.  The heaviest rainfall is expected in the upper White
River Basin.  Widespread small stream flooding will likely be higher
than seen this past weekend.

Significant river flooding is in much of Indiana and southeast
Illinois. Major flooding is likely along Wildcat Creek in the
Lafayette area and the Patoka River in southwest Indiana.

Flood crests in parts of central Indiana, including the
Indianapolis area, may be the highest since April 2013.  For the time
of year...river flooding along the Wabash River in western
Indiana and along the White River in southwest Indiana will be the
worst since April 2013 or May 2011...but not as severe as in those
years. 

On Wednesday afternoon stream had returned to lower levels in
central and southern Indiana.  Rivers levels were falling in much 
of central Indiana and rising slowly in southern and western
Indiana south of Terre Haute.  Stream levels ranged from near
bankfull to more than 8 feet above flood stage along the
Wabash River in western Indiana.

Flooding will last from a few days in central Indiana to possibly 3
weeks in southwest Indiana and southeast Illinois.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of 
  its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is 
  flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river 
  bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally 
  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR 
  900W.

  near 96th St. on the Marion and Boone County Line and Noel Road in 
  northwest Marion County.  Turkey Foot Road north of Temple Avenue
