DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS TODAY...

The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 5 PM CST this afternoon. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Knox, Stark, Peoria, Marshall, Woodford, 
  Fulton, Tazewell, McLean, Schuyler, Mason, Logan, Cass,
  Menard, Scott, Morgan, and Sangamon counties. Fire weather 
  zones 027, 028, 029, 030, 031, 036, 037, 038, 040, 041, 042, 
  047, 048, 049, 050, and 051. 

* WIND...West wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 20 to 25 percent this afternoon.

* TIMING...From late this morning through the late afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
