  Northern Barton County in central Kansas...

* Until 900 PM CDT
    
* At 823 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located 4 miles northwest of Great Bend, moving 
  northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Hoisington around 835 PM CDT.

BARTON COUNTY...
    
At 836 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located just west of Hoisington, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. This storm has a history of 
         producing tornadoes from near Pawnee Rock, to southwest of 
         Hoisington. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northern Barton County, including the following locations: Susank.
