* Until 1145 PM CST
* At 848 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated torrential rainfall
occurring across the warning area. Between three and four inches
of rain have already fallen, and the combination of runoff and
additional rainfall will lead to flash flooding shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Payne, Rainsville, Little River Canyon National Preserve,
Henagar, Collinsville, Crossville, Sylvania, Little River Falls,
Valley Head and Hammondville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

* Until 145 AM CST
* At 1029 PM CST, emergency management officials and NWS trained
storm spotters reported significant flooding throughout the Big
Wills Creek basin. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain have already
fallen, and flash flooding is already occurring. The combination
of additional rainfall and runoff will result in flash flooding
continuing into early Monday morning.
