The path of the system looks to be a little further north than previous forecast. Wood, Portage, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago counties should get less snow than earlier forecast, while areas over far northeast Wisconsin should see the highest amounts. In addition, wind gusts up to 30 mph will likely cause blowing and drifting of snow this afternoon over northeast Wisconsin. The snow and blowing snow will produce slippery roads and sidewalks for those traveling by car or foot, and will create airline delays as well.
