...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT
TONIGHT...

* TIMING OF THE HIGH WINDS...Strong northwest winds will continue
  this afternoon into this evening.  

* WIND SPEEDS...Sustained winds of 25 to 40 mph are expected. A 
  few gusts to 60 mph are possible, mainly along the northern 
  shore of the Bay of Green Bay and Washington Island. 

* WIND IMPACTS...Wind gusts will likely result in sporadic power
  outages. Driving high-profile vehicles will also be difficult. 
  Unsecured outdoor objects such as garbage cans and lawn 
  furniture may be blown around. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is
expected. The latest Wisconsin road conditions can be obtained by
calling 511. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
near 60 mph or more can lead to property damage. Tree branches
and power lines can come down in winds these strong. High-profile
vehicles will be difficult to drive in these conditions.

* TIMING...Strong northwest winds will continue this afternoon
  before subsiding by evening. 

* WINDS...Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts 
  of 40 to 45 mph. 

* IMPACTS...Loose objects will get blown about. Smaller trees
  could see limbs blown down. High-profile vehicles will be 
  buffeted by the gusty winds. Crosswinds could affect some 
  airports. Isolated power outages are possible.

Advisory, which is in effect until 4 AM CDT Wednesday. The High
Wind Warning has been cancelled. 

* TIMING...Strong northwest winds will continue into this evening
  before gradually diminishing overnight.

* WINDS..Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected. A few 
  gusts to 50 mph are possible, mainly along the northern shore of
  the Bay of Green Bay and Washington Island. 

* IMPACTS...Wind gusts will likely result in sporadic power 
  outages. Driving high-profile vehicles will also be difficult. 
  Unsecured outdoor objects such as garbage cans and lawn 
  furniture may be blown around.

...WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has cancelled the Wind
Advisory. 

Blustery conditions can be expected into the early evening hours
before winds begin to diminish. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph
with gusts up to 35 mph will persist, however these winds speeds
are below advisory criteria , therefore the wind advisory has been
cancelled.
