  Southern Thomas County in northwestern Kansas...
  Logan County in west central Kansas...

* Until 1100 PM CDT

* At 802 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
  area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash
  flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Colby, Oakley, Brewster, Winona, Monument, Russell Springs and
  Mingo.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 36 and 39,
and between mile markers 56 and 75.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
