The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Charles Mix County in south central South Dakota...
  Southwestern Bon Homme County in southeastern South Dakota...

* Until 615 PM CDT
    
* At 539 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Marty, or 11 miles southeast of Pickstown, moving 
  southeast at 20 mph. Additionally, a second circulation was 
  located southwest of Avon, moving southeast at 20 mph. Both 
  circulations are capable of producing a tornado.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

SOUTHEASTERN CHARLES MIX AND SOUTHWESTERN BON HOMME COUNTIES...
    
At 556 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles south of Dante, or 17 miles southeast of
Pickstown, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Charles Mix and southwestern Bon Homme Counties.

BON HOMME COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 615 PM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.  However small hail 
and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm as it 
moves southeast toward the Missouri River.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and southeastern South Dakota.
