  Northwestern Charles Mix County in south central South Dakota...
  Central Gregory County in south central South Dakota...

* Until 530 PM CDT
    
* At 454 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles northeast of St. Charles, or 24 miles west of
  Lake Andes, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Platte around 520 PM CDT.

NORTHWESTERN CHARLES MIX AND CENTRAL GREGORY COUNTIES...
    
At 506 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles southwest of Platte, or 22 miles northwest of
Lake Andes, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Platte around 515 PM CDT. 

In addition to a tornado and hail, strong straight line winds are 
possible with this storm.
