Yavapai County in west central Arizona...
* Until 830 PM MST
* At 530 PM MST, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
nearly stationary thunderstorms south and west of Rimrock. These
storms are producing 1 to 2 inches of rain. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.
This includes the following streams and drainages...Rarick Canyon...
Beaver Creek...Walker Creek...Russell Wash and Dry Beaver Creek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

YAVAPAI COUNTY...
At 645 PM MST, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated that
rainfall had nearly ended around Rimrock and Lake Montezuma. A rain
gage east of Rimrock recorded 2.20 inches of rainfall. Area creeks
and washes are likely flooding.
This includes the following streams and drainages...Rarick Canyon...
Beaver Creek...Walker Creek...Russell Wash and Dry Beaver Creek.

Rainfall has ended in the Rimrock area. Reports were received
earlier about flooding in Russell Wash, near Lake Montezuma. No
additional reports have been received. Water levels in any flooded
creeks and washes will continue to recede this evening. Please
continue to heed any remaining road closures.
