The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Red Flag Warning for low relative humidity and strong winds, which is in effect until 7 PM EST this evening. * Affected Area...Portions of north and central Georgia south of a line from Carrollton to Gainesville. * Winds...Northwest around 14 to 18 MPH with gusts of 25 to 30 MPH. * Timing...1130 AM EST until 7 PM EST. * Relative Humidity...17 to 24 percent. * Temperatures...56 to 67 degrees. * Impacts...Very low relative humidity and strong winds will allow fire to spread rapidly. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... This warning includes the Oconee National Forest.
