of Water Resources for the following rivers in California...
Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County
Mad River Near Arcata affecting Humboldt County
Van Duzen River Near Bridgeville affecting Humboldt County
Another round of significant rainfall tonight through Tuesday night. The
heaviest rainfall is expected to occur Tuesday morning. Additional
rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches and up to 6 to 8 inches in the mountains
will lead to flooding on these rivers.

the warning is cancelled.
* At 2:00 PM Monday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet...Severe bank erosion can occur. Highway 175
near the Russian River closed due to flooding. Many secondary
roads flooded in the Hopland, Ukiah and Talmage areas.
* FLOOD HISTORY...This crest compares to a previous crest of 26.8 feet
on Dec 31 2005.

23.0 ft tomorrow afternoon then forecast to crest near 33.0 ft then
forecast to fall below flood stage of 23.0 ft wednesday morning
then forecast to recede to near 10.0 ft late thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet...Significant flooding over the south bank
approximately 1 mile east of Highway 1 will occur. Property damage
to inlcude the six homes along the river is possible. Expect
closure of Highway 128. Motorists should use alternate routes.

14.0 ft late thursday morning then forecast to recede to near 17.5
ft tomorrow morning then expected to rise above flood stage of
20.0 ft tomorrow afternoon then forecast to crest near 24.0 ft
wednesday morning then forecast to fall below flood stage of 20.0
ft wednesday evening then forecast to fall below monitor stage of
14.0 ft late thursday morning then forecast to recede to near 11.5
ft late thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet...Minor flooding of Highway 211 to Ferndale
south of Fernbridge is expected. Much of the Eel Delta may be
flooded, including areas northwest of Loleta, the western portion
