Steady...heavy rain will continue through the day Wednesday and diminish into
showers overnight, causing the Russian river to rise through early Thursday morning.

* Flood Stage is 21.0 feet.
* FORECAST...The river will rise to near 15.0 feet by Wednesday evening...then
crest near 20.9 feet tomorrow morning. The river is forecast to recede below 15.0
feet Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet...Minor flooding of cropland begins along the
right bank near Hopland. Highway 175 near the Russian River likely
closed due to flooding.
