.A winter storm will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to Iowa
late Thursday into early Saturday morning. The greatest threat
for moderate and heavy snowfall is over north central and
northwest Iowa. Strong north to northwesterly winds will lead to
dangerous travel during periods of heavier snow and conditions
will reach or exceed blizzard criteria.
