* Flash Flood Warning for...
South-Central Webb County in south central Texas...
* Until 415 PM CDT
* At 216 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Laredo, Rio Bravo, Laredo International Airport, Botines, Unitec
Industrial Park, United South High School, Texas A&M International
University, Aguilares, Ranchitos Las Lomas, St Augustine High
School South Laredo, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo, Laredo Country
Club, Orvil and Callaghan.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT FOR
SOUTH CENTRAL WEBB COUNTY...
At 252 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to spotty heavy rain
across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.
Although the storm has weakened somewhat, additional development is
possible before the warning expires. Some areas have received well
over 4 inches of rain over the last 24 hours in the warned area.
At this time, it appears that most of the heavy rainfall will remain
east of the city of Laredo, unless storms develop later this
afternoon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying

SOUTH CENTRAL WEBB COUNTY...
At 321 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain across
the warned area, mainly near and north of Aguilares. Up to one inch
of rain has already fallen. Additional rainfall and saturated soils
could still lead to some flooding over the warned area.
The storms which were near Laredo have dissipated, and the warning
for the city of Laredo is no longer in effect. However, a Flash
Flood Watch remains in effect for all of Webb County including
Laredo. Additional storms are expected tonight, some which could
result in flooding.
