* Until 1145 PM EDT Friday

* At 543 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lorain, Elyria, Vermilion, North Ridgeville,
  Avon Lake, Amherst, Grafton, Avon, Sheffield Lake, Eaton, Oberlin,
  Sheffield, Lagrange, South Amherst, Pittsfield, Kipton and Eaton
  Estates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as

At 745 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already 
fallen in parts of Lorain, along the lakeshore, and in parts of 
Oberlin and Kipton. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Lorain, Elyria, Western Vermilion, Vermilion, North Ridgeville, Avon
Lake, Amherst, Grafton, Avon, Sheffield Lake, Eaton, Oberlin,
Sheffield, Lagrange, South Amherst, Pittsfield, Kipton and Eaton
