* Tornado Warning for...
  West central Burke County in east central Georgia...

* Until 245 PM EST
    
* At 212 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Midville, or 21 miles southwest of Waynesboro,
  moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  west central Burke County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

CENTRAL BURKE COUNTY...
    
At 226 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles north of Herndon, or 12 miles southwest of
Waynesboro, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
