  Southwestern Clarendon County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina...

* Until 915 PM EDT
    
* At 852 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Harleyville, or 27 miles southeast of Brookdale,
  moving north at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Holly Hill around 900 PM EDT. 

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include

SOUTHWESTERN CLARENDON AND SOUTHEASTERN ORANGEBURG COUNTIES...
        
At 904 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Holly Hill, or 25 miles southwest of Manning, moving
north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado. 

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud near Harleyville. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Clarendon and southeastern Orangeburg Counties,
including the following locations: Santee, Vance and Eutawville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

If on or near Lake Marion, get away from the water and move to safe 
shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough 
to be struck by lightning. Severe thunderstorms can produce large 
capsizing waves, even on small bodies of water. Move into dock and 
seek safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a 
thunderstorm.
