The Flash Flood Watch continues for * A portion of central New York...including the following counties...Jefferson...Lewis...Northern Cayuga and Oswego. * Through Monday morning. * Moderate to heavy rainfall are expected across the eastern Lake Ontario region through early evening, then heavy rainfall will move into the area late tonight through early Monday. Rainfall totals of 3 to 5 inches are expected over a 48 hour period. * Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result in significant flooding of low lying areas and also small streams and creeks. Drainage inlets clogged by leaves may increase the risk of street flooding. Flooding of larger rivers such as the Black River, Moose River, and Salmon River is also possible.
