...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM EDT this evening.

* Location...The Connecticut River Valley which includes the
  cities and towns of Hartford, Windsor Locks, Union, Vernon,
  Charlemont, Greenfield, Orange, Chesterfield, Blandford,
  Amherst, Northampton and Springfield.

* Winds...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Timing...until 7 pm.

* Impacts...Winds this strong are capable of downing small tree 
  limbs and branches, possibly causing isolated power outages. 
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
