FOR NORTHWESTERN HARTFORD...SOUTHERN HAMPSHIRE AND WESTERN HAMPDEN
COUNTIES...

At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was locateed near New Hartford 
in eastern Litchfield County, moving east at 35 mph. This storm may 
produce large hail and damaging winds from Simsbury to Canton and 
Burlington Connecticut.  

Other strong storms extended along a line from Westhampton 
Massachusetts to New Preston Connecticut.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated. 

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to trees 
         and power lines.
