As of 1 pm CDT...the cold front extended from a low near Minot 
westward to between Williston/Watford City and westward across 
Montana. South of the Missouri River, in far southwestern North 
Dakota, west winds of around 20 mph with gusts around 30 mph had 
developed. Temperatures were in the upper 80s to near 90 at 1 pm CDT, 
and relative humidity values had dropped to around 20 percent. These 
red flag conditions are expected to persist for at least a few hours 
this afternoon, while spreading east towards the south central part 
of the state. The red flag warning remains warranted for this
