The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southwestern Hamilton County in eastern New York...
Central Herkimer County in eastern New York...
* Until 1145 PM EDT
* At 1101 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 10 miles north of Ohio, or 17 miles south of
Old Forge, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Hamilton and central Herkimer Counties, including the
following locations: Mountain Home, Powley Place, Nobleboro,
Atwell, Wilmurt, Wilmurt Corners, Clockmill Corners,
Morehouseville, Hoffmeister and North Wilmurt.

SOUTHWESTERN HAMILTON COUNTY...
At 1118 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 15 miles west of Lake Pleasant, or 18 miles southwest of
Speculator, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Clockmill Corners, Mountain Home, Morehouseville, Powley Place and
Hoffmeister.

cancelled. However, damaging winds remain likely and a Severe
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.
