The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Schoharie County in east central New York...
  Southern Herkimer County in eastern New York...
  Western Montgomery County in eastern New York...

* Until 700 PM EDT

* At 617 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Waterville to near Brookfield to near North
  Norwich, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. 

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
           roofs, and outbuildings. 

* Severe thunderstorms will be near, 
  West Winfield around 630 PM EDT. 
  Ilion, Frankfort and Cedarville around 635 PM EDT. 
  Herkimer, Mohawk and Jordanville around 640 PM EDT. 
  Little Falls around 650 PM EDT. 
  Canajoharie, Fort Plain, St. Johnsville, Sharon Springs and Ames 
  around 700 PM EDT.
