  36 inches, with localized amounts up to 44 inches, are expected.
  Highest amounts are expected near the top of the pass with snow
  levels rising to around 2000 feet or higher during the event.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...Midnight to 6 PM Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause
  areas of blowing and drifting snow on Wednesday. Lighter snow is

  expected through Friday afternoon. Highest amounts are expected
  near the top of the pass. As snow levels rise, snow will
  transition to rain in the lower parts of Thompson Pass.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass for heavy snow. Snow changing to rain for
  Valdez up through Keystone Canyon.

* WHEN...10 AM Thursday to 4 PM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will rise throughout the day
  Thursday reaching near the pass level by the afternoon. Valdez
  and lower elevations can expect mostly rain, perhaps mixed with
