The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Red Flag Warning FOR HOT DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS...which is in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to 10 PM AKDT this evening. * Location...Copper River Basin. * Winds...South winds 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Strongest winds along the Copper River. * Relative Humidity...as low 20 percent. * Temperatures...70s to near 80. * Timing...Conditions developing late this afternoon and continuing until late this evening. * Impacts...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be possible.
