The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 7 PM MDT this evening. * LOCATION...Chuska Mountains, West Central Plateau, Peaks and East Slopes of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, Raton Ridge and Johnson Mesa, Far Northeast Highlands, Northeast Highlands, Union and Harding County. * WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph, with occasional gusts to between 45 and 50 mph. * TIMING...Wind speeds reaching advisory threshold mid afternoon and peaking late afternoon before decreasing below advisory threshold early to mid evening. * VISIBILITY...Unlimited. * LOCAL IMPACTS...Strong cross winds will impact travel for large and high profile vehicles. Light weight objects may be tossed around. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Motorists should exercise caution while travelling.
