The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Central Mora County in northeastern New Mexico...
* Until 530 PM MDT.
* At 507 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Ocate, or 15 miles northwest of Wagon Mound,
moving south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Mora County.
This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 369 and 385.

At 518 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles southeast of Ocate, or 12 miles west of Wagon
Mound, moving south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.
