At 648 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge, or 15 miles northeast of Roswell, moving
northwest at 35 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Bitter Lake Wildlife Refuge.

This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 118 and 135.
 
Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on highways as storms move through the area.
