Heavy rains this afternoon are expected to result in rapid rises of the San Diego River. The San Diego River at Fashion Valley is forecast to reach flood stage around 10 pm this evening with a crest of 11.9 feet around 4 am Thursday monring. The river level will gradually decrease later Thursday morning.
