The Chimney Burn Area in Northwestern San Luis Obispo County in southwestern California... * Until 1130 PM PST * At 832 PM PST, Doppler radar continued to indicate heavy rain over the Chimney Burn area, with rainfall rates exceeding one half inch per hour. This is in addition to rainfall totals over 2 inches in the last 6 hours. More significant debris flows are expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that could experience flooding and debris flows include... the Chimney Burn Area and Hearst Castle. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flash Flood Warning for a recent burn area means that flooding and debris flows are imminent or occurring.
