...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood 
Warning for portions of the following river in southern Indiana...

  East Fork White River...

.Lowland river flooding developed quickly along the East Fork White 
in northern Jackson Counties following locally heavy rains of 4 or
more inches in southeast Bartholomew...southern Decatur and northern
Jennings Counties on Tuesday morning.  The river was near crest
at Seymour this morning and will begin to fall later this afternoon.

Flooding will affect some local and state roads...low agricultural
land and some river parks. High water will persist for 1 to possibly
2 days in Jackson County.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  the East Fork White River at Seymour.
* from this afternoon to late tonight.
* At  5:45 AM Wednesday the stage was 11.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
  rise to near 12.1 feet by this afternoon.  The river will fall 
  below flood stage by this afternoon.
* At 12.0 feet...Significant agricultural lands begins to flood.  High
  water affects some local roads.
