* At  7:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 15.3 feet. 
* Flood stage is 15.5 feet. 
* Minor flooding is forecast. 
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to 
  rise to near 15.7 feet this morning. Additional rises are 
  possible thereafter.
* At 15.5 feet...Flooding affects mainly agricultural land.  Some 
  cottages may be affected by water on the western end of the Big Eau
  Pleine Reservoir...or about 5 miles downstream of the gage on 
  Highway 97.

  Widespread lowland flooding is occurring downstream to western 
  Wausau. In Marathon city...several feet of water is covering Lions 
  Park...water is surrounding homes near River Road north of Marathon
  City.
