  Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County 
  Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County 

...The flood warning is cancelled for the following rivers in 
California...
 
  RUSSIAN RIVER near Hopland affecting Mendocino County
  Mad River Near Arcata  affecting Humboldt County

The weather system responsible for the heavy rain has moved out of
the area. The smaller rivers have crested and the larger rivers will
crest today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about 
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

  THE Navarro River At Navarro.
* until this morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* AT  2:15 AM Monday the stage was 24.6 feet. 

* The river will crest around 24.7 feet early this morning and
  slowly diminish through today.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 23.0 feet. 
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet...Flooding of Highway 128 approximately 5 
  miles from Highway 1 is certain and the road will be closed. 
  Motorists should use alternate routes.

  THE Eel River At Fernbridge.
* until this evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* AT  2:15 AM Monday THE stage WAS 20.6 feet.

* The river will crest around 21.2 feet this morning and
  then recede slowly this afternoon and tonight.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 20.0 feet. 
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet...The western half of the Eel Delta may be 
  completely flooded, especially if at or above this level for an 
  extended period of time. This includes areas northwest of Loleta 
  and the western portion of Cannibal Island Road.

  BANK NEAR HOPLAND.
* The river is near its crest and will slowly recede through today.

  THE Mad River Near Arcata .
* AT  2:00 AM Monday THE stage WAS 20.5 feet. 
* The river has crested and fell below flood stage at 11:25 pm
  sunday.

* FLOOD STAGE IS 22.0 feet. 
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet...Flooding of the mad river Beach Road is 
  likely. Water may be flowing over roads to tyee city. Flooding will
  be enhanced if the time of the crest is coincident with high tides 
  and strong onshore winds.
