THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BROWNSVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL HIDALGO COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS...

* UNTIL 1230 AM CDT
    
* AT 1202 AM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A
  TORNADO WAS LOCATED OVER SANTA ANA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE...OR
  NEAR ALAMO...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

  HAZARD...TORNADO AND HAIL UP TO TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER. 

  SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION. 

  IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT 
           SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
