Michigan...
Rifle River near Sterling AFFECTING Arenac County
.RIVER LEVELS ON THE RIFLE RIVER NEAR STERLING HAVE NOT
RESPONDED TO THE WARMER WEATHER OF THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. THAT
STRONGLY INDICATES THAT THERE WAS LESS WATER THAN EXPECTED TIED UP IN
THE SNOWPACK UPSTREAM OF STERLING. RIVER LEVELS ARE STILL FORECAST TO
CLIMB SOMEWHAT AS WE MOVE INTO THE WEEKEND. HOWEVER...THE RIFLE
RIVER NEAR STERLING IS NO LONGER EXPECTED TO CREST ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.
THEREFORE...THE FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
INTERESTS ALONG THE RIFLE RIVER SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR WATER
LEVELS THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
