* TIMING...ROUGH SURF WILL OCCUR INTO THIS EVENING. THE GREATEST
  SEAWARD PULL FROM RIP CURRENTS WILL OCCUR AROUND THE TIME OF LOW
  TIDE IN THE LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON.

* POTENTIAL IMPACTS...RIP CURRENTS AND ROUGH SURF WILL CAUSE
  HAZARDOUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS AT EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA BEACHES.

CURRENTS...LONGSHORE CURRENTS...ROUGH SURF AND OTHER HAZARDS
CREATE LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS IN THE SURF ZONE. CAUTION
SHOULD BE USED WHEN IN OR NEAR THE WATER.

THE BEST SAFETY ADVICE IS TO ONLY ENTER THE SURF NEAR A LIFEGUARD.

IF YOU BECOME CAUGHT IN A CURRENT...NEVER ATTEMPT TO SWIM
DIRECTLY AGAINST IT...AS YOU WILL TIRE QUICKLY. INSTEAD...TREAD
WATER AND SWIM AT AN ANGLE AWAY FROM THE CURRENT. THEN ONCE OUT OF
THE CURRENT...SWIM DIRECTLY BACK TOWARD THE BEACH.
