* POTENTIAL IMPACTS...LONGSHORE CURRENTS COMMONLY OCCUR WHEN WAVES
  APPROACH THE SHORELINE AT AN ANGLE. THEY CAN PRODUCE RIP
  CURRENTS NEAR JETTIES...PIERS AND REEFS. LONGSHORE CURRENTS AND
  ROUGH SURF CAN ALSO KNOCK YOU DOWN OR OFF A SANDBAR INTO DEEPER
  WATER. THE BEST SAFETY ADVICE IS TO ONLY ENTER THE SURF NEAR A
