.NORTHEAST WINDS IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT WILL INCREASE TO 15
TO 25 MPH ON THE LAKE PRODUCING DANGEROUS WAVES ALONG THE SHORE.
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH LATER THIS AFTERNOON DECREASING THE
THREAT FOR DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS.

HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON.

* HAZARDS...DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS DUE TO LARGE WAVES.

* TIMING...THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON.

* LOCATION...ALL BEACHES FROM OTTAWA COUNTY EAST TO ERIE COUNTY IN
  PENNSYLVANIA.

* POTENTIAL IMPACTS...WAVES OF 3 TO 5 FEET WILL HIT THE EXPOSED
  BEACHES ON LAKE ERIE CAUSING DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS DUE
  TO CURRENTS IN THE WATER. SWIMMERS CAN BE SWEPT OUT INTO DEEPER
  WATER IF CAUGHT IN THE CURRENT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SWIMMING RISK EXISTS TODAY. THE COMBINATION OF WIND AND OR WAVES
WILL MAKE FOR POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR SWIMMERS
INCLUDING THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION OF
