...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
central and southern Indiana...

  Big Blue River...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel 
  River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White River...

.Widespread flooding will develop along rivers in central and
southern Indiana by Sunday and continue in western Indiana until
early March. Significant flooding is possible at a few locations.
Flooding will affect local and state roads and possibly some
residential areas.  

All river ice will break up and move during this flood event. 
Serious localized flooding is possible along the Wabash River in
Tippecanoe County because of river ice.  Local river residents of
Americus...River Junction and Lafayette may be at risk tonight
through Saturday morning.  Any ice problems along the Wabash River
will be confined to the area upstream of I-74.

Flood crests are not expected to exceed those experienced in December
for the White and East Fork White Rivers.  Flooding along the Wabash
River from Lafayette to Vincennes will be higher than December
levels but lower than those seen in April.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Report serious ice jams to local law enforcement.  Motorists should
never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep
children away from flooded areas.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise 
  to near 20.3 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.the river will fall 
  below flood stage by Saturday early afternoon.
* At 20.0 feet...Flood waters possibly a foot deep cover SR 42 just 
  east of the Eel River.  Several county roads flood extensively.  
  Persons in river cabins move cars and possibly belongings to high 
  ground.  Agricultural levees are threatened.  Poland-Bowling Green 
  Road is impassable in several places.

* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and 
  continue to rise to near 13.3 feet by Saturday evening.the river 
  will fall below flood stage by Monday morning.
* At 13.2 feet...Lowland flooding in progress along Driftwood River
in
  northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. Double Y Saddle Club 
  area flooded.  At least 6 inches of water flowing over CR 950N to 
  Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of 
  its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is 
  flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river 
  bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally 
  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR 
  900W.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers...

  Big Blue River...Driftwood River...East Fork White River...Eel 
  River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White River...Youngs 
  Creek...

.Widespread flooding has developed along rivers in central and
southern Indiana following rainfall from the recent storms and rapid
snow melt. Flooding will affect local and state roads and possibly
some residential areas.  

All river ice will break up and move during this flood event. 
Serious localized flooding is possible along the Wabash River in
Tippecanoe County because of river ice.  Local river residents of
Americus...River Junction and Lafayette may be at risk tonight
through Saturday morning.  Any ice problems along the Wabash River
will be confined to the area upstream of I-74.

Flood crests are not expected to exceed those experienced in December
for the White and East Fork White Rivers.  Flooding along the Wabash
River from Lafayette to Vincennes will be higher than December
levels but lower than those seen in April.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

* At 20.9 feet...During June 2010 State Road 257 south of Washington 
  began to flood at this crest level at Petersburg after Shoals 
  crested at 18.19 feet.  About a week later Petersburg crested at 
  21.34 feet...about one half foot higher...but the water did not 
  reach State Road 257 after Shoals crested at 15.59 feet...about 2.5
  feet lower.  Lost River did not contribute much water during this 
  June flood and locally it was not extremely wet.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers...

  Youngs Creek...

.Widespread flooding has developed along rivers in central and
southern Indiana following rainfall from the recent storms and rapid
snow melt. Flooding will affect local and state roads and possibly
some residential areas.  

All river ice will break up and move during this flood event. 
Serious localized flooding is possible along the Wabash River in
Tippecanoe County because of river ice.  Local river residents of
Americus...River Junction and Lafayette may be at risk through Saturday morning.  
Any ice problems along the Wabash River will be confined to the area 
upstream of I-74.

Flood crests are not expected to exceed those experienced in December
for the White and East Fork White Rivers.  Flooding along the Wabash
River from Lafayette to Vincennes will be higher than December
levels but lower than those seen in April.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

.Widespread flooding continued along rivers in central and southern
Indiana following rainfall from the recent storms and rapid
snow melt.  Flooding will affect local and state roads and possibly
some residential areas.  

At least 10 residences evacuated because of localized flooding from
ice jams along the Wildcat Creek in Tippecanoe County.  Automated
equipment indicated ice jams possibly forming and breaking up along
the Wabash River and local tributaries in north central Indiana on
Friday afternoon.  Local river residents of Americus...River
Junction...Lafayette and other areas may be at risk for flooding
through Saturday. Any ice problems along the Wabash River will be
confined to the areas upstream of I-74.  There have been no reports
of ice jams along the White or East Fork White Rivers in central and
southern Indiana.

Flood crests are not expected to exceed those experienced in December
for the White and East Fork White Rivers.  Flooding along the Wabash
River from Lafayette to Vincennes will be higher than December levels
but lower than those seen in April.  Most locations in central
Indiana will crest by Monday.  Locations in western and southern
Indiana will see crest during the week of February 23.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR
