PORTIONS OF GEORGE COUNTY...AND RADAR ESTIMATES SHOW RAINFALL RATES
OF 3 TO 5 INCHES PER HOUR FALLING IN A BAND OF VERY HEAVY RAIN
MOVING ACROSS EASTERN GEORGE COUNTY. THIS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE
FLASH FLOODING IN THE WARNED AREA AND INUNDATION TO AREAS ALREADY

AT 1255 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT THE HEAVY RAIN HAD MOVED OUT OF THE COUNTY. WHILE LIGHT TO
OCCASIONALLY MODERATE RAIN WAS STILL INDICATED ACROSS PORTIONS OF
GEORGE COUNTY...RAINFALL RATES ARE LIGHT ENOUGH TO PRECLUDE AN
IMMEDIATE FLASH FLOOD HAZARD.
MUCH OF GEORGE COUNTY HAS BEEN INUNDATED WITH HEAVY RAINFALL SINCE
THIS AFTERNOON...SO AREAL FLOODING AND AREAS OF STANDING WATER WILL
REMAIN OF IMPACT OVERNIGHT. AN AREAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 215 AM CDT.
