* AT 1121 PM EDT...RUNOFF FROM THUNDERSTORMS EARLIER THIS EVENING 
HAS PRODUCED A RAPID RISE IN SOME OF THE LOCAL STREAMS WHICH WILL 
BECOME BANK FULL OR FLOOD INTO ADJACENT AREAS THROUGH 230 AM EDT.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO SCOTLAND...
  HELENA AND MCRAE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AT 11 PM EDT THE LEVEL AT TURNPIKE CREEK AT MCRAE WAS 9.70 FEET AND 
RISING. FLOOD STAGE IS AT 10.0 FEET. TURNPIKE CREEK WILL LIKELY GO 
ABOVE FLOOD STAGE.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
