* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN GARFIELD COUNTY IN UTAH
  CENTRAL KANE COUNTY IN UTAH

* UNTIL 900 PM MDT

* AT 300 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
HEAVY RAIN FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE PARIA RIVER DRAINAGE.  THE 
HEADWATERS OF THE PARIA LOCATED JUST SOUTH OF BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL 
PARK HAS RECEIVED 1.25 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION IN AN HOURS 
TIME...AND AS OF 3PM THESE AREAS CONTINUE TO RECEIVE INTENSE 
RAINFALL. 

* AREAS IN THE PARIA THAT ARE ANTICIPATED TO FLASH FLOOD INCLUDE THE 
SKUDAPAH ROAD NEAR CANNONVILLE INCLUDING YELLOW CREEK AND OTHER 
SMALL TRIBUTARIES OF THE PARIA RIVER DRAINAGE.

ROAD CONNECTING UPPER JOHNSON CANYON TO THE TOWN OF CANNONVILLE. 
ADDITIONALLY...MULTIPLE DRAINAGES IN THE WARNING POLYGON INCLUDING 
YELLOW CREEK ARE FLASHING AND EXPECT TO FLOW AT DANGEROUS LEVELS 
THROUGHOUT THE LATE EVENING HOURS.

PLEASE ENSURE FOR YOUR SAFETY BY AVOIDING FLASH FLOOD PRONE AREAS  
INTO THE NIGHTTIME HOURS IF YOU ARE IN THIS AREA.
