* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH CENTRAL UTAH COUNTY IN UTAH

* UNTIL 630 PM MDT

* AT 451 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
HEAVY RAIN FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE QUAIL BURN SCAR ADJACENT TO 
ALPINE CITY.

* ANYONE LIVING IN THE ALPINE AREA SHOULD TAKE ACTION TO ASSURE 
THEIR SAFETY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF A DEBRIS FLOW HAS OCCURRED IT IS IMPORTANT REALIZE THAT THE RUNOUT
AREA REMAINS VERY DANGEROUS. ADDITIONAL DEBRIS FLOWS MAY OCCUR WITHIN
MINUTES OF THE ORIGINAL FLOW. PLEASE REMAIN VIGILANT AND BE PREPARED
TO TAKE SWIFT ACTION.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR NORTH CENTRAL UTAH 
COUNTY...SPECIFICALLY THE QUAIL BURN SCAR ADJACENT TO ALPINE CITY...

RAINFALL RECORDING BETWEEN 0.30 AND 0.50 INCH HAS FALLEN OVER AND 
NORTH OF THE ALPINE BURN SCAR...HOWEVER A DEBRIS FLOW HAS NOT 
OCCURRED.  THE MAJORITY OF THE RAINFALL HAD FALLEN IN THE DRY CREEK 
DRAINAGE TO THE NORTH OF THE BURN SCAR...WHICH WAS NOT AFFECTED BY 
THE FIRE.

AS A RESULT...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THIS AREA HAS BEEN 
CANCELLED.
