* AFFECTED AREA...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL IMPACT
  AREAS GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM CASSVILLE TO
  OSCEOLA.

* WINDS...SOUTH 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 6 PM.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...20 TO 25 PERCENT.

* TEMPERATURES...AROUND 60.

* IMPACTS...THESE CONDITIONS CAN RESULT IN A RAPID SPREAD OF FIRE
  ESPECIALLY ACROSS GRASSLAND AREAS.

.MOISTURE LEVELS WERE BEGINNING TO INCREASE OVER EXTREME 
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI THIS EVENING. RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT
PERIOD...WHICH WILL SOMEWHAT LOWER THE RISK FOR A RAPID SPREAD OF
WILD FIRES.

HOWEVER...SOUTH WINDS GUSTING UP TO 30 MPH WILL OCCUR AT TIMES 
TONIGHT AND INTO MONDAY. THEREFORE...DESPITE THE INCREASE IN
MOISTURE LEVELS...THESE STRONG WINDS WILL FAVOR A RAPID SPREAD OF 
WILD FIRES.
