AT 1020 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
CURRENTLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 33 MILES WEST OF WILKES-BARRE...MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR TRESCKOW...BEAVER
MEADOWS AROUND 1145 PM...LANSFORD...SUMMIT HILL AROUND
MIDNIGHT...WANAMAKERS...NEW MAHONING AROUND 1215 AM...PALMERTON AND
TRACHSVILLE AROUND 1230 AM.
THIS STORM WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
REGARDLESS VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL FROM THIS STORM...AND WILL
CAUSE WATER TO POND ON ROADS AND QUICKLY FILL POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
EVEN IF ITS NOT SEVERE, WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH AND SMALL HAIL WOULD
